TRAINING & STAFF DEVELOPMENT

IN-SERVICE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

All Caregivers are required to complete 16 hours of in-service training annually. Training is scheduled by the Training Coordinator and/or Case Coordinator and it is held monthly. This will ensure that caregivers are meeting the required hours in a timely manner. If Caregivers fail to attend the mandatory trainings, they must contact the office to be allowed to come on a make-up day to complete the missed training class. Two consecutive no-shows will result in taking away the Caregiver’s privilege of direct deposit and their checks will be mailed out. In addition, no-calls/no-shows shall attract a penalty of $18.00 to be deducted from the Caregiver’s paycheck as cost of urgent care protocol.
